Specialists in internal medicine have an enormous knowledge base and are trained to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions affecting individual bodily organs, or entire systems of the body. To complicate matters, some patients experience multiple ailments simultaneously, making the job of the internist that much more challenging. At Center for Veterinary Specialty Care, we are fortunate to have an experienced, board-certified internist who is trained to diagnose and treat everything from cancer to gastrointestinal and urinary tract illnesses; liver, pancreas and kidney diseases; heart, lung, and respiratory problems; endocrine disorders, immune system, blood, and bone marrow abnormalities.
